Yea, everyone with a big HP street car says the same thing.
Once i lost A/C and power steering, i stopped having fun.

The car will be fun again, very soon!

I think keeping your street car around 350 HP is just perfect for the street. Im not looking for overkill this time around, just want to drive it like its stolen.

I totally agree, but part of me wants a 650hp street car. I guess thats why I'll keep a monthly bus pass handy, and just drive the car sporadically. My 85 probably made 330-340 flywheel hp, and short of the MAF problems the car was a blast to drive. But then again, nothing comes close to cruising in my MG 91LX convertible.... bone stock 5.0 5 speed, and I had tons of fun with the top down and hot hoochies in the vacant seats. Nothing beats a convertible!

Still a very good trans thought and if the price is right for a used
one I may go that route

I'm telling you, nothing beats a nice clean convertible! You dont have to go fast, but its got plenty of balls to beat on most imports. Worst case scenario, slap on an exhaust and a cheap ass Powerdyne and you're jamming.

Anybody use those Viper-Spec Tremecs? Think they'
d handle 650-700 hp at the crank?

I'm trying to figure out what I want for a trans when I finally get around to buying another mustang....I was thinking about going with an auto, cause the wife wants to be able to drive it too, but I'd much rather have a 5 speed personally.

But if I do go with an auto I'd like to have a 4-5 speed auto does anyone make one for Mustang applications that's any good?

You must be made of money, cuz to consider a complete setup for the T56 you'll wind up spending $4000 PLUS installation, driveshaft and odds and ends like fluid. Why not stick to basics, can't jump from a 105hp car to something with enough to break a T56 and expect to live.

Well, any clean stang is nice to have but i agree. A super clean vert is the best IMO.

Pictures i attached were of the cleanest mustang in Mississauga, until it got smashed . Had beautiful ROH snipers, my buddy sold it as is for around $4000
