well I garage my thunderbird, and have since it was brand new (1990) so thats goin on 17 years. I do some basic maintence things right before I store it, and make sure to periodically start it about 1 time a week, even though I still do put fuel stabilaizer in it.

I normally store it at the end of October. It usally depends on the weather. Last year I drove the car untill Mid Nov. As long as the snow does not fly and its a clear day I will still drive her.

It's been stored since I bought it. Though it might see winter action in Montreal since I want him to have a car to drive. We'll see.
