I'm building up my 79 stang into a daily driver/weekend warrior with eventual outputs of 400+hp, but that's down the line. For now it has a stock 302, holley 4 bbl carb on Street Dominator intake, and an old SROD 4 speed tranny.

I want to upgrade my tranny to a 5-speed, but which should I get? A T5 or Tremec TKO? The TKO is built for more abuse, but it's a lot more expensive, and I'm wondering how much abuse a T5 can take? I was looking into a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch, but if there's something better out there let me know. Thanks!
