Since I went for a walk yesterday, I've had this car stuck in my head. I walked down towards the industrial area which is probably a 10 minute walk fro my place because I'm convinced my car wound up there somewhere. Along the way, I saw a shop with a sick Skyline parked out front along with an MR2 and a couple other Jap cars. So I went inside and talked with the owner for a while, we talked about other shops nearby and I asked about the pricing on some of his cars. He's got some beautiful Japanese right hand drive vehicles, namely some nice Skylines ranging from $6000-18,000 as well as a couple of really nice Honda CRX's and one slightly beat up '90 Supra twin turbo. The Supra is what I'm interested in, and I desperately need another car asap to get to and from work etc. The price is amazingly low, and though I dont enough right now I'm hoping I can pull some strings with family to get enough to buy it and get it on the road.

It's been stuck in my head since I saw it. It's a little beat up, needs paint, a front bumper cover and one fender is nicely dented but it has some 17" wheels on it and looks to be lowered. Also, it has a full exhaust system and it is the Twin Turbo version whereas all the North American ones I've seen are single turbo. And the cool thing is obviously the fact that its right hand drive! The car needs some tuning and a full tune up and who knows what else, but the shop owner tells me he'll guarantee the car to be mechanically sound. Thinking about this car makes me think less about the missing Mustang. What do you guys think? Pics are not going to happen til I've bought it as I'm paranoid about someone scooping it up from under my nose. I'm going to do some research on them to see what I can find. Anyone here have any opinions on what I should do?

Strong motors and they look pretty cool, but they're still a Jap car and they sound like a bumble bee driving down the road. Would be the coolest F-cking car ever with a small block though.

Nope, they actually have a straight six that sounds similar to a BMW motor and has a deep and muscular sound... depending on the exhaust of course. If I get it, it will remain 3.0 with a turbo.
