Geez, just because you own one and it's YOUR favourite Mustang doesn't mean I can't voice my opinion that I think it's the fugliest thing to bear the Mustangs name. It's a PINTO for God's sakes!
So you knock the Fox for running a 255ci V8, but in your book it's ok that the Pinto, I mean Mustang II didn't have a V8 in 74 because "The V8 issue for the 74's is easily fixed". The Fox Mustang ran from 79-93, and in extension all the way up til 2004 with a modified chassis. Are you really going to tell me the II was a better car because it sold more units during the disco 70's? How many championships has the Mustang II won? And do you really think because a car "resembles" it's original that it's better overall or even better looking than one which doesn't??? That's got to be the most far reaching arguement ever!
Don't get your panties in a bunch because we strongly dislike your car, I couldn't care less if you hate Fox Stangs but don't be a hypocrite! And get over yourself, Mustang II's are ugly and that's the bottom line.

oh and BTW what part of the 99-04's look like the original?

As far as I'm concerned, no offence, but NONE of the mustangs from 71-04 look ANYTHING like the original so WTF are you even talking about man?

Not to mention the 74-78's are likely the most hated on cars ever built, I've even talked to G.M. guys that'd take ANY other year mustang than those....I don't care if it was one of the top 5 years in sales for mustangs, it's still a gay looking car.

Just because Honda sells lots of Civics, doesn't mean it's cool to own one.

Wow. Of all people I would have thought Mustang owners would just appreciate the fact that its a Mustang. Im not nor has any II owner (I know) DISLIKE any other Mustang. I like them all, they all have their own look to them. Just because a majority of you dont like the II's doesnt mean you have to throw it in our faces. Trust me, the people that own II's KNOW that the are "the most hated", but who cares!? If we like them, so be it. I thought this was a Mustang enthusiest board, not a bashing board. I liek both my Cobra II and my Mustang coupe.
