What's the deal with the wipe on tire shine they have? I see alot of tv shows like unique whips and Overhaulin that use it, anybody else tried it? Is it good?

I personally use Black Magic.

I've normally used Meguire's Gold Class in my car's over the years and I got an armour all wipes 4 pack thingy for x-mas, but I haven't tried them out yet, I've used them before but now they have a glass cleaner too so I'm kinda interested to see how well it works.

Meguiars does mass marketing and sponsors many events/shows. That tire shine does not last long, it runs off and spins off. I do not find the application of the product to come out nice and even to coat the surface of your sidewall.

Try Eagle One or Black Magic. The best stuff that you can get at Canadian Tire.

I use industrial biodegradeable tire shine for all my cars and cars at the shows.

Good luck. let me know if you need any other help.

The Black magic is really thick, so it doesn't always coat the sidewall evenly, and I don't really want to wipe it or anything. That's my only complaint about it, otherwise it's great.

Apply with tire foam applicator... and lightly wipe again with another foam applicator like you would use for waxing the car. This will reduce the thickness of it.

ah, never really thought about doing that.

I heard that with a good tire shine you shouldn't need to wipe, but I really like the black magic and it does seem to last a long time.

The foam applicator is that sponge thing you see all the time right? I can't find them at CT.

You heard correct. A good tire shine should need a second do-over. But in terms of convenient purchasing, it does its' job.

Crappy Tire sells about 3 different types of tire foam applicators.
Look for the Black Magic. It's a grey plastic handle with grey foam or is it black foam. Stay away from the the one with the yellow squishy handle and grey foam. I forgot who makes it... and its crap.

I use the meguires gel. It comes with a foam applicator and for me it gives a nice sutble shine.
