No you are reading it correctly.Tax is near 40% ,conversion costs 30k then shipping and rego cost 7k each it all adds up to big bikkie's but at least it makes them very rare and special.

You have to be very keen to get a Mustang Down Under.

I agree 100 %. The RIV says all Ford are admissable, should be no problem. Parts are the same thing. Just an example, I needed a new power mirror for my 2005 Dodge Ram. $580.00 at the dealer here, $175.00 brand new, same mirror off a dealer on E bay out of Arizona. Cost me $28.00 to ship it. Unreal

Yup, everyone is buying cars now from the US. I don't blame them. I have been looking at some trucks and looked at a couple other sports cars. On some of them, cost savings of up to $15,000 !!!!

It's no wonder people will hire brokers, even at $1000 you're saving HUGE!
