Dude, you and I are going to have to get together and I will teach you the art of cleaning your damn engine bay!!! That's GROSS man, especially with that nice intake, valve covers and STB in there!!!!! A warm day, a sandblaster, some hand tools and some rattle cans is all we need. Ohh and you bring the beer.

you know whats funny, i cleaned the intake and strut bar for the pic.lol

i drive my car like a truck, it has more mud the my truck sometimes. i'm not afraid of dirt road or getting savage air on those dirt roads. i don't care for looks as long as she is fast. but since the motor is out i will be doing some work to the engine bay this winter.

LOL, now THATS hilarious! I guess it's better to keep the new stuff shiney.... But I hope you do go nuts with lots of cleaning cuz that engine bay is dirrrrrrty like Christina Aguilera, without all the penises.
For a nice clean carb setup, look at this.....

Don't mind the headers, that was before he had a chance to change them. That was ALOT of hard work by my friend Kris, taking everything apart, sandblasting it, painting it and clearcoating it all with high heat paint/clear.

That's a Vic Jr, you should see the port work.... Came off a car that was running 8.90's with a direct port NOS setup! That motor should be good for at least 400hp n/a, it's a beautiful beast! Now if only the outside was as pretty as the engine bay......

Ahhh you're mistaken my friend... that is NOT my engine bay, mine looks a bit more like yours except its stock (and still EFI). Not only that, the motor above is in my deceased friend Kris' '86 GT.... 351W, forged pistons, b+b, girdle, ARP rod bolts, forged .030" pistons, Vic Jr heads, Vic Jr intake, 750 DP, Comp Cams 286HR sporting 230* and .598" lift exiting through BBK 1 3/4" long tubes..... if Kris were alive today, we would have hopefully finished that beast but now its up to me to pick up where he left off. I'll finish the car up and sell it on his mothers behalf, funerals aint cheap .
But, my car will be getting a Weiand X-Celerator as the Vic Jr doesn't distribute fuel evenly enough for boosted applications.

No worries, thanks for the kind offer. The car is still in Toronto, so when I do manage to get down there in the springtime I'll take a few days and finish it off. I'm gonna get that thing to the track just to test her out, cuz I'm sure he would have wanted to know how fast she is.
