hello all. new to the site as i have just picked up a '84 lx. originally it was a v6 auto. somewhere along her life a 79 351W 4V was dropped into her. Still with the original V6 DRIVETRAIN! so i went out and grabbed everything i need to converft it to a 5.0 5spd drivetrain out of an 87 GT, EXCEPT 1 VERY CRUTIAL and overlooked part.... the INPUT SHAFT BEARING.... will a standard 5.0 bearing fit into the crank of the 351?? if not any suggestions on what engine i might be looking to order this part from??? (ie. 350, 318, 400, etc)
any help and suggestions about this complete conversion would help... thanks in advance.
