lol i just bought one but head gasket blew on the way home form buying it. sucks hard core

so now i either need to replace head gasket or swap.

anyone know all that is needed to swap a 5.0 into a 3.8?

so you have a 3.8?
the only problem with that is that the head gaskets are knwon for going out in those motors hence the recal by ford.

how many miles are on the engine and where are you located?

compresion?

yeah so on the 99-04 v6 will they sink up to my tranny iw ould really like to not have to change my drive train!

my 99 motor in my 95 car is runnin a 94 5.0L tranny
but your trany will bolt up just fine you need the change a few wires around but its a simple swap 150 on the clock

hmm well right now i am trying to replace the gaskets just so i can get to school i am intersted in in a 5.0 swap lol so if this doesnt work i might take you up on that lol i am in seatle though

The 5.0 swap is easy, just get an 87-93 parts car and swap in the motor with the engine harness and computer. If you're good with wiring you can make it run well. I did a budget swap for a guy a few years back and wound up running a speed density computer in a 96.....
