didnt install yet i was coming home today and car died think its the alternator so i went got one from the wreckers and it was baffed too so guess its time for new one 300.00 bucks sucks .

hey if i pulled the negaeine cable off while it was running it dies. anyways ill post pics when i get this thing fixed. thanx for the look at my post .

and alt prob was do to not having gauges in car exciter wire runs through
gauges and excites the alternator to power up and give juice to the battery
well i guess its for the good of the site to figure this out but i cleaned every ground new ,ends ,cables, alt harness ,alternator, battery test, alt test
and ripped out my alarm and whole system before... (for the love of god )
i should be slapped (A chevy guy found it ) lol i know i know anyways its all good now fewwwww .back on the streets and already thinkin up next mod

Dude, you've really gotta calm down and start using proper punctuation. You have no idea how annoying that is on the internet.
As for $300 for an alternator, wow. You can buy a brand new unit from a guy on the Corral.net for $150 shipped, and it's a factory new Motorcraft unit. Rebuilders charge no more than $150 locally, and the last one I had done only cost me $100.
