You heard correct. A good tire shine should need a second do-over. But in terms of convenient purchasing, it does its' job.
Crappy Tire sells about 3 different types of tire foam applicators.
Look for the Black Magic. It's a grey plastic handle with grey foam or is it black foam. Stay away from the the one with the yellow squishy handle and grey foam. I forgot who makes it... and its crap.
